Pochard Lake

We were first introduced to the site in 1999 and on behalf of the owner secured a Lawful Development Certificate for the lake, summerhouse, boathouse and use of the lake and buildings as a pleasure garden and for recreational fly fishing by a fishing syndicate all of which had dated back many years.  In 2013 we were successful in obtaining a planning approval for a new fishing lodge enabling much improved facilities for the members of the syndicate.  The replacement building was designed by Julian King Architects and it won the title of ‘Best Small Commercial Project’ at the grand final of the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2017.  It was also shortlisted and commended in the AVDC Design Award Winners 2017.
