New Draft Fee Regulations

Get ready for 1 April 2025 when the Government’s new draft fee regulations are likely to come into effect. There are significant changes proposed:

  • A s73 application for major development will increase from £293 to £2,000.
  • A condition discharge application for residential development increases from £145 to £298.   
  • For householders, we see an increase in the application fee from £258 to £528. 
  • Prior Approvals, commercial and agricultural development are also affected.  

These fees will not be subject to the indexation rise that will come into effect for all other planning fees on 1 April 2025 but will be fixed until the next indexation rise on 1 April 2026.
